I first learned about Youth Haven Bible Camp in 2010 when my friend Rachel Holemen asked if I would be interested in working at camp that summer. I quickly fell in love with the ministry. There was something incredibly special about spending the week sharing the gospel, building relationships with the campers, and having fun together through all the activities. Seeing kids hear about Jesus and watching God work in their hearts made a lasting impact on me. I enjoyed the experience so much that I returned to serve for two more summers.

After I got married, my husband and I had the opportunity to bring our youth group to Youth Haven Bible Camp for Teen Week for two years. It was such a joy to watch our students experience camp and see many of them grow in their faith during that time.

This past year I had the opportunity to join the KMM staff and now serve in a semi-remote role. It has been such a blessing to continue being part of a ministry that is so passionate about sharing the gospel and reaching young people for Christ. Now that my kids are in school, I’m grateful to be able to use the gifts God has given me to support and serve such a meaningful nonprofit. KMM is a place where lives are changed, and I’m thankful to play even a small part in what God is doing through this ministry.
