Ed & Kim Bowers

We are the Bowers. We began our mission journey in early 2010 when we were accepted into Kentucky Mountain Mission and placed in Clay County to run the Christian Youth Center. In late 2014, we transitioned to Oneida Baptist Institute to serve alongside our children while they attended school there.

In 2024, the Lord led us to retire to Myrtle Beach to help Edward’s cousin run his hydraulics business. We stayed for six months before the Lord opened the door for us to return to Kentucky Mountain Mission as volunteers. Edward now takes care of the grounds and maintenance, while Kimberly helps in the office.

We have two grown children: Clay, his wife Makenzie, and their precious 8-month-old baby girl, Fallon Enslee, who live in Texas; and AnnaGrace, her husband Jacob, and their precious 20-month-old baby girl, Delilah Mae, who live in Manchester, Kentucky.
